Bees are essential

These small insects are the fundamental link in the entire food chain. Thanks to their tireless pollination work, bees are responsible for around 80% of the food we eat every day.

No antibiotics and prohibited substances

We take care of our bees as best we can, without using substances prohibited by law and which can damage the hive and the honey.

Genuineness

The honey produced is genuine and artisanal and is not subjected to any industrial processing that alters its qualities and organoleptic composition.

Properties and benefits of honey

In addition to stopping superficial infections, honey reduces the symptoms of gastric ulcers and is used to treat diarrhea which, especially in children, can be dangerous because it causes dehydration. Honey is also effective against constipation, as it contains large quantities of fructose, a sugar capable of reaching the large intestine without having been digested.

Fructose also gives a particular sweetening power and a prolonged energetic effect because, while glucose is burned immediately, fructose has emollient properties thanks to which it remains "available" for the body for longer.

Depending on the type of honey, the therapeutic properties also change: acacia honey acts positively on the digestive system, forest honey is indicated for flu-like states, orange honey has healing properties, sunflower honey is anti-neuralgic, fever-relieving, recommended against cholesterol. Furthermore, heather honey has an anti-rheumatic and anti-anemic action, linden honey soothes menstrual pain, is calming, diuretic and digestive, while wildflower honey has a detoxifying action on the liver.

Crystallization

You may have bought a jar of it and realized that it has become a hard or very dense mixture. It means that it is crystallized. This is a natural process linked to the greater presence of glucose compared to sucrose, which is typical of some varieties of honey, but also depends on the temperature (around 14°). This is not an indication of a damaged product.
