Citrus honey

Citrus honey comes from the flowers of different Citrus plants such as orange, bergamot, cedar, lemon, mandarin. It is a single-flower honey that is mainly produced in Sardinia, Sicily and in some areas of Calabria and Basilicata. With its intense scent it has a very light color that tends towards white as it crystallizes. This honey has a great aromatic intensity, between floral and fruity, which makes it slightly acidic. It has antispasmodic and sedative properties. So you can use it in cases of insomnia, migraines or in very anxious subjects. Honey normally has beneficial effects on people suffering from ulcers. Specifically, citrus honey, having healing properties, is particularly suitable for alleviating the symptoms of ulcers.
